The Iowa Journal of Communication is an award-winning state journal that publishes the highest quality peer-reviewed scholarship from a variety of communication topics.
Research is diverse in perspective (philosophical, theoretical, critical, pedagogical, and empirical) and approach (quantitative, qualitative, critical/rhetorical). The Iowa Journal of Communication also publishes reviews and reflective pieces of concern to communication scholars and practitioners. One need not be a member of the Iowa Communication Association to submit.
